HeldUp 1.0

HeldUp is the easiest way to stop windows from disappearing behind other programs.

HWND_TOPMOST is a special Windows setting for positioning a program above all others on your Windows Desktop even when using another program. Every programmer learns about this setting when they begin Windows programming, and some use it in their own software to help the user control Windows. However, even though this is an easy feature to add to your own software, there are few utilities which allow the user to control this for any open program, and possibly none which allow the user to do this quicker and more easily than HeldUp.

HeldUp is EASY. Just drag the HeldUp icon from the system tray onto the software you want to keep on top. It doesn't get much easier than that!

HeldUp is SMALL. It's written in C++ without any resource hungry components, which means that HeldUp is using as little system resources as possible. The entire application is less than 70kb and will probably be one of the smallest programs on your PC.

This software is a commercial software. You will be able to download and test HeldUp during a certain period of time, then, if it does what you need, you will have to acquire the full version. The trial version available for download on www.softandco.com has a size of 68 KBytes. For additional information and support request, please contact directly HeldUp publisher.

HeldUp 1.0 was released by JohnMacIntyre.ca on Monday 13 September 2004.

HeldUp will run on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
